We are a dynamic research center within the Department of Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences (EECS), at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Kragujevac, led and managed by Prof. Vladimir Milovanović. Our research primarily concentrates on the development and application of advanced techniques in analog, mixed-signal, and digital Integrated Circuit (IC) and Systems-on-Chip (SoC) design. Our research and development focus spans from rigorous theoretical considerations, over practical circuit- and system-level design in open-source and industry-standard commercial EDA tools, all the way to chip measurement & characterization.
We have experience with projects ranging from the design of novel commodity WiFi-compatible battery-less RFID tags, wireless communication and sensing systems, and all-digital fully-synthesizable implementations of traditionally analog circuit blocks all the way up to building energy- and resource-efficient computing platforms and digital hardware accelerators for artificial intelligence and signal processing algorithms. Our group is uniquely positioned and has competencies covering many electronic and computer engineering subdisciplines. We possess an in-depth knowledge of full-stack electronic system design, and our areas of interest include hardware and software at all levels of the system stack, from devices to systems and applications. We are proud to have the peculiar ability to design and build a complete, functional proof-of-concept prototype of relatively complex electronic systems (see Research).
We are constantly looking for new passionate highly motivated Undergraduate, Master, and PhD students, as well as Postdocs, to join the team (more info) !
